The Chatelains

Here we are, the Chatelains: Hef, Katie (me), Chaden Mae, and James. We are at Leo in this picture. All looks well and good. But in reality James was unwilling to listen to direction, Chaden was having a full tween moment, Hef was just trying to get through it, and I was wondering when I could have a beer. All in all, solid photoshoot this year.

We try our best in life. What more can you really do? You will find us most weekends on the softball field coaching and cheering on our Chaden, while our James, “The Professor,” can be caught at any time reading books or reciting facts.

I could not and would not be a photographer without the love and support of my family. They will always come first, no matter what. I take a lot of pride in that.

I have been photographing families, newborns, weddings, etc. for over 7 years now. As I have grown as a photographer, my style has become more my own and more clear. I aim to deliver galleries that mimic film. Film creates light, airy, beautiful portraits. And thankfully that can be achieved by digital photography as well.

My goal is to create art that you choose to print and hang on your walls. Images that create happiness every time you walk by them.

I look forward to meeting new clients and continuing on relationships with my long-standing clients as well.
